I inherited all of my dad’s knives when he passed away. He loved knives and collected them from the time he was a kid until he passed away at 64. These are just a few of his Buck knives. The first one was an anniversary gift from work. They’re all well loved, I can remember seeing him use each one of these. I still haven’t gone through all of them. He has a large collection of Schrade knives, some Case XX, Swiss Army, really old ones I can’t identify that belonged to his father and some cheesy collector’s knives, like the Rambo 3 knife, a Gil Hibben silver shadow dagger, and an oriental monastery guard dagger for example.
I don’t know what to do them, so here I am hoping someone else may like to see them. I have more… lol.. I have a couple that I use myself, gave a few I knew my dad loved to my husband and I thought about giving them to other people I know and who knew my dad, but I feel like I think of a reason to save each knife for myself. I’m not interested in the monetary value of any of his collection, knives were fun for him and I’m sure any senitmal value the knives have is more than the money they’re worth. I enjoy looking at them from time to time and you bet I have a knife for every occasion!
Thanks for letting me share some of my dad’s collection with you.
