So as I was unscrewing the head to lock it out and put it in my backpack I realised the wrong part was unscrewing. So good news modders, no glue on this one, the XHP70.2 is easy to access and maybe XHP70.3-ify!
Now for the question: how does this impact waterproofing? It is a diving light after all, and the little plastic ring around the LED that seems to help seal with the reflector did move about.
