He had a lot… I mean a lot of knives. Also swords even! A lot of them he made using bones as handles. I’ve honestly got two full bins of knives! This is a small snapshot. Is there a market for things like this?
There definitely is a market for them, but I think keeping them for the emotion value will be greater.

First, my sincerest condolences. Losing a parent sucks. There’s no other way to put it.
As far as ascertaining the value of what you have, yes there is a market. Many people here on reddit would be happy to help you with exact market and resale prices on manufactured items. Custom builds will be harder to place value on.
If there are a great deal of folding knives, I’d be happy to help catalog and provide pricing, both market and general resale, value. My knowledge is restricted to mass production folding knives sold within the last 10-15 years, so idk how much help I could be if he had a lot of older items, but I’m willing to try.
