I’m new to knives, and a local shop in my country is selling this supposedly original “Buck” for 95 usd. Is it worth it? If not, how much would you pay for it?
It’s a liner lock, I know there are better locking mechanisms out there, but is the liner lock bad? I have a couple knives with liner lock and I have no complaints about it besides being difficult to close the knife single handed.

Nope. Not sure what country you’re in but in the US that’s a $15-20 knife. Edit* and “original buck” doesn’t mean much when it’s made in china.
I actually think it looks nice but 95 is out to lunch for that without some type of super steel.
Bucks Chinese made knives are…not great. I own a buck vantage that I paid 50€ for. It should have costed 25 max. Horrible horrible.
For 95 you can get a Civivi and less for a Sencut (same company different brands).
Good options:
Civivi mini praxis 35-40$
QSP Penguin, 25-40 depending on version or 65 for button lock version (really nice)
Many more knives and brands for better prices exist.
If you want a buck consider the ones that are made in the states with S35VN steel. Their 420hc is well heat treated but it’s still barely passable as a “good” knife steel.
$25 USD.
