Just ordered myself a Convoy S21G in glossy titanium, SFT-40 3000k with high CRI (95+?) and a Vapcell F60 6000mAh battery for around 50-60 USD and free shipping.
I was about to order some extra LEDs for testing but I had to stop myself.
I am excited.. for a flashlight???
I have an older Maglite 4D that I got when I was a kid, still working, then I found a Led Lenser X21R.2 in the dumpster I revived with a new battery and charger, then I got a Fenix PD36 TAC with SST-70 and 4pcs 5000mAh batteries and their ARE-A4 charger.
I thought that was it, but apparently Convoy has such cheap and moddable / serviceable flashlights that I could not resist, love tubedesign flashlights and the titanium is just wow!
I wonder how bad are unprotected vs protected cells?
People don’t seem to care and what are the real pro/cons to this?
This will be the last flashlight… said every addict every time, and now im… one of them??? šš
