Yes, it covers the charging port, but I usually use an external charger anyway.

You can turn around the body tube to have it lens down
Hd10 is a fantastic light. I need to figure out how to get the aux lights to cycle but other than that, it’s excellent and I find myself grabbing it all the time, reaching right past much more expensive lights to grab this one
