The other side is stamped RH PAL 36 which google says is a common knife from ww2 era. I wanna get the rust off and sharpen this bad boy up so I can put it to good use. Also I need to replace the button on the scabbard, but I’ll have someone at a leather shop do that.
The blade seems to be coated black but it may just be rust. Also I’m colorblind as shit so idk. My mom just recently gave it to me saying it came from my late grandfather.
