I met one of my best friends in college. We dated very briefly, but were much better together as friends. We’ve stayed in contact ever since. Ten years ago today, she officially beat breast cancer, so on Oct 1st, I carry pink to remember how hard she fought and to celebrate how well she’s doing now.
