Just bought an ESSE-4 and never really noticed the stains on my ESSE-6 until I put them side by side. I always clean my blades after a camping trip and coat them with gun oil. Is there something I should be doing differently?

ESSE-4. I’ve had the 6 for a little over a year and I use it every time I’m camping. I absolutely love it, so I picked up the 4 to keep in a get home bag. I’m gonna see how it holds up this weekend in the mountains
