Which one fellas? Any reason for choosing any specific blade shape?

  1. I love tantos but I got a DP utx-85 because the angle of their second point is very large. It seemed like it’d be hard to actually use it and not have the knife get in the way. The DP actually sticks out further than the tanto, it should be the other way around.

I actually just picked up a tanto CT with the natural finish. I’m partial to the tanto blade shape- I don’t like combo edges and wouldn’t want to try and sharpen the dagger. Also feel that proportions on the tanto are pleasant to look at.

I’m not very knowledgeable about the practicality of knives, I’m just here because I think knives look cool. So with that context in mind, that first one looks fucking sick, and that fourth one too.

2nd one black cerrated , can be a show piece but very useful with the serrations

    Tanto.

Double edge geometry on an OTF is thick. If you want a slicer, don’t get a dagger!

I got a tanto microtech cause i thought it looked awesome.

It does, but that’s about it. If you can get a plain edge drop point or whatever normal-ish style blade then I’d go with that. If you plan to use it that is. Otherwise
    .. cool factor? Dagger.

4th. The double edged one – Dagger . It is sturdy with double (2x) the edge. More edge matters.
