I remember when they were getting bought up, and a lot of people were going after the Magnacut Pack Knife. I was around for that; always loved the R2D2. My first nice USA-made fixed blade was an OG Randall Adventure Tactical (RAT 3) back when Randall was still there, before he moved on to ESEE knives. I’ve checked their site occasionally, and it seems like the same message has been up for a while now, so I was wondering if anyone knew or had heard any whispers about what’s really happening. Are they gone for good? I’ve heard rumors that it might be like what happened with Cold Steel, but as far as I know, they’re still producing knives, and Lynn Thompson is doing some advisory work. So… TLDR, are they gone for good, or are they coming back eventually? It doesn’t look promising. Feels like once the domain expires, they’ll be a thing of the past.
