The scales on my mini champ pocket knife disintegrated on me a couple years ago.
I realized I have the tools to make custom scales out of oak and I thought they came out pretty well.
I was going to do some sort of nerdy scene on the back, but my daughter wanted to put a portrait of me on there to ensure everyone knew it was my knife.
