I know I know, I maybe a bit neurotic about new stuff I buy, but gotta say I’ve never had this uneven brand new blade before. Also, I could reprofile the edge, but that would be removing lot of material. Are they usually like this?

It’s a tool.
It will cut and afterwards be able to be honed back to a good cutting edge without issue.
I don’t see any issue. You are being neurotic.
The blade on this multitool is an afterthought of an afterthought. Relatively speaking, it is fine.
