Finally pulled the trigger on a top tier knife and there is definitely a noticeable fit and finish bump (top knife in collection reate built sharp by design knives). Its the mini arius and its a beauty! Action is better then I expected and talk about drop shut! Has definitely exceeded my expectations as I always wondered how much better you could get over the $300-$400 knives. I cant say there’s double the value quite but definitely more then enough for what I paid on the secondary market! Think this one is sticking around for awhile! Thanks for looking! Great knife! Was on my want list since it came out years ago and finally got it about 4 months ago. Believe it or not, the maker is constantly making improvements to the knife without any fanfare and we just get the benefit. Latest change is thinning of the concave blade profile and corresponding decrease in bevel angle. Mine came in at almost 30° and I took it down to just over 20° so the polished bevel would show up a bit more.
First time I’ve put in a set of skiff bearings and the action did not improve noticeably. Their ceramic bearings are that good. Easy drop shut with both sets.

Watch out! Once you get a taste for the higher tier knives it’s hard to go back. Nice knife!
